A series of monthly meetings looking at British ceramics from 1750 to 1850, which was the development period for the ceramics we use today, starting with Chinese imports and the early English porcelain factories in London. We will then go on to look how the industry spread around the British Isles, finishing with the mass-produced fine ceramics that saturated the market in Victorian times.
